Coming soon to Surgoinsville
First Community Bank of East Tennessee (FCB) is expanding its branch footprint in Hawkins County to include Surgoinsville. Located at 290 Bellamy Avenue, the new location is the former site of Capital Bank which closed in May after being purchased by First Tennessee.
“We are excited to open this new full-service branch and be a financial resource for the hard-working residents and businesses of Surgoinsville,” said Tyler Clinch, FCB CEO and President. “It is our honor to serve the town as the premier financial institution in Hawkins County. This will make our fifth location in the county and seventh overall.”
As with the other FCB locations, the Surgoinsville branch will offer a full range of products and services. The staff will be able to assist customers with teller services, deposit accounts, loans, business accounts, business loans, and investment services. The branch will also offer safe deposit boxes, a drive-thru teller window, and a drive-up ATM.
“The leaders and residents of the Surgoinsville community have been tremendously welcoming,” said Steve Waller, FCB Hawkins County Regional President. “I look forward to serving as the acting branch manager of the Surgoinsville location during the first year of operation. Surgoinsville native Marc Borghetti will be our assistant branch manager, and we are both eager to bring community banking to Surgoinsville.”
Renovation is scheduled to begin immediately, and a grand opening celebration and open house is tentatively scheduled for early December.
“We encourage all Surgoinsville residents and businesses to open an account now,” stated Waller. “We are happy to serve you at any of our other six convenient branch locations until we are open in Surgoinsville.”
