A: Your VISA Debit Card is not a credit card, so you aren’t billed finance charges. We deduct each purchase amount from your checking account and list the details on your monthly statement.

Q: What should I do if my VISA Debit Card is lost or stolen?

A: To report your card lost or stolen, please contact us at 423-272-5800. If you need to report your card lost or stolen during our non-business hours, please contact our automated system at (888) 771-0033, press option 7. You will need your account number to report the card lost or stolen using the automated system.

Q: Are there transaction fees for using my VISA Debit Card?

A: No, there are no transaction fees; however, as with the ATM card, foreign ATM fees still apply.

Q: Can I use my VISA Debit Card without a PIN to make purchases?

A: Yes, you can use your Debit Card just like you would a credit card. Simply swipe the card, or give it to the salesperson and sign the receipt. Remember the purchase amount is deducted from your checking account.

Q: How do I activate my VISA Debit Card?

A: To activate your VISA Debit Card, you will need to do a PIN transaction. We strongly suggest you do a balance inquiry at any ATM location to activate your PIN prior to use.
