Guard your identity on social media

Did you know the innocent quiz you answered on Facebook this morning about your first pet and the street you grew up on could actually be giving scammers access to your identity?  Social media sites are inundated with these types of seemingly innocent surveys, games, and quizzes urging people to reminisce about their first job or their first car.  The problem with participating is that you may be unknowingly giving away the answers to “secret questions” that can be used to unlock access to a host of your online identities and accounts.
