Surgoinsville Grand Opening

FCB employees, board members, and community leaders prepare to cut the ribbon.

First Community Bank of East Tennessee (FCB) held an official ribbon cutting and grand opening celebration of the new Surgoinsville branch on Friday, April 5, 2019.  Located at 290 Bellamy Avenue, the fully-renovated facility opened its doors to customers on Monday, January 14, 2019

“We’ve been anxiously awaiting milder weather to officially invite the public to come see the transformation of this new location,” said Steve Waller, FCB Hawkins County Regional President.  “Rain was in the forecast, but held off. It was a wonderful day with customers, friends, and great food!”

The Surgoinsville branch offers a full range of products and services as well as safe deposit boxes, a drive-thru teller window, and a drive-up ATM. Waller is currently serving as the acting branch manager of the Surgoinsville location with Surgoinsville native Marc Borghetti serving as assistant branch manager.  The other Surgoinsville team members are Hawkins County residents Angie Burr and Hannah Barrett.
